so where the hell have we been? that's a question i have heard a lot lately, so
here's the story...
in november of 1996 we finished our seven month world tour in moss, norway.
we got home a little burned out so we decided to take 1997 off. the only
show we played in 1997 was at the fireside bowl in chicago with face to
face. we split our set with a little known band called at the drive-in
who was on my label, offtime
records, at the time.
in 1998 we got back together and did a six week us tour playing with various
bands like shyster, spider virus, at the drive-in, three years down, dynamite
boy and welt. at the end of the tour we decided to record our third album
in september at sonic iguana studios with mass giorgini. that summer miguel
left the band so we brought in karl eifrig from lynyrd's innards to help
write and record the album. the recording started in september and was
not finished until april 1999. the record is called 'pop culture failure'
and will be out in june 2000 on jump
up records.
since finishing our new record chris bauermeister (jawbreaker) has joined
the band on bass. we just recorded a new cdep with mass giorgini at sonic
iguana studios for coldfront
records. the record is called 'copper regret' and will be out april
2000.
offtime records
is releasing a discography cd called 'seven mile road' which will have tracks
from all our ep's, comp's, and unreleased material which will be out soon. (back...)
