some changes in the hp camp
where is chris? that's a question we heard a few times in europe. well,
let me tell you a story.
we actually have two new faces in horace pinker again. in february 2001
our guitar player matt arluck left the band after three years, two records
and two tours. he decided to pursue other musical interests with our old
bass player miguel barron. he was replaced by our new guitar player don
meeleis.
soon after that the band was hit with another bombshell, chris had decided
that his touring days were over. he will still record and play local shows,
but no more tours. as chris put it 'i didn't enjoy touring with jawbreaker
when i was drunk, so i really don't enjoy touring with horace pinker now
that i am sober.' so, if you want to see chris live you had better
take a trip to chicago.
so, after a few phone calls and lot's of love we added another bass player
to the hp family.....greg mytych.
after a few rehearsals we where off to europe. the first show with the
new line-up was in the uk and the new guys fit right in. lot's of chaos
went down on the 23 shows in 26 days in 10 countries tour. we will have
lot's of photos and stories up soon. (back...)
