hope everyone likes the new site. i am still working on a few things and adding more sections, so keep checking back for updates.
looks like 2002 is going to be a busy year for us. we are getting ready for our european tour that starts at the end of april. we will be
playing 6 countries in 18 days...nice little european tour.
upon getting back from the tour we will start working on our new record. we have been writing songs for the past few months and it looks like
we will be recording with mass giorgini at sonic iguana (the man behind our last two efforts) in june. not sure what label this record will be on or when it will be released, but we'll work that
out this summer and let you know. in the meantime we will put some mp3's on the site so you can check out the new stuff.
also, i know we have been saying this for a few years, but 'seven mile road' (the discorgaphy cd) will be released this fall on offtime
records. the big hold up has been recording new songs.
we wanted to start the record off with one or two news songs before we take people back in time to the begininng of the band. we know that
a lot of people are not familiar with our older recordings and we didn't want people to think this was the new follow up to 'copper regret'
and 'pop culture failure'. don't get me wrong, it's not that we are ashamed of our older recordings, we just feel that
the band has progressed a little since the early days and we want to make sure that 'seven mile road' takes people from the beginning of
horace pinker to where the band is today. know what i mean?
it's pretty wierd putting the record together and going through the older songs. it's almost like i am listening to a different band.
