new year, new record, new label!

we have signed with THICK RECORDS and we're stoked.
not only is it an established home town label, but thick's just one of those labels that cares more about the music than the "flavor of the month". their roster consist of hard working independent bands. bands that are diverse and eclectic, and don't easily fit into a specific genre. this is why we chose thick to be our label and why we think horace pinker and thick will make a great team.

alright, with that said let's talk about TEXAS ONE TEN! it will be released may 5 in europe and may 16 in north america, plus it will be an enhanced cd. the record will feature 12 new songs, plus our video for 'more at home'. if that wasn't enough, there will also be a video called the 'making of horace pinker'. this video has behind the scenes footage of us in the studio recording 'texas one ten' and footage of us filming the 'more at home' video. also, there is a slide show of pictures from the past 4 years of tours, recording sessions, and much more.

thick records is distributed through southern, so please tell your local record store to order the new horace pinker record 'texas one ten'!

we will be streaming the new record as we get closer to the release date, but until then you can download 2 new songs at our purevolume.com site!

tour plans
we are currently planning a little promotional tour of europe may 13 - 29. We will also be touring brazil june 8 - 19. we have never toured in south america before, so we are pretty excited. we are planning on touring north america july - august and as we start to confirm dates i'll post them to the site, so keep checking back.

video release
the video for 'more at home' will be featured on a dvd comp from our friends at blank tv. the comp is called 'american idles' and should be released in may.
the video will also be on the new record, so just put that sucker in your computer and enjoy.
once we get closer to the release date set we will post the video on our site for everyone to check out. should be sometime in march.
